Welcome to the Tenants' Association!
We work for reasonable rents and good conditions for everyone in rental housing. A secure home for life where people and society develop. With over 580,000 members, we are Sweden's largest grassroots and member organization for tenants. At over 40 offices around the country, our approx. 800 engaged housing heroes work together with over 9,000 elected representatives. We are an organization in constant motion that challenges ourselves and learns from each other. With us, you get the opportunity to try things that are new, difficult, and perhaps unexpected. In this way, we become stronger together. Want to get to know us even better? Follow us on https://www.linkedin.com/company/hyresgastforeningen/
The Tenants' Association is divided into nine regions across the country. The work and needs may look different depending on the geographical area. All regions coordinate the efforts needed for their respective region, and here all expertise is gathered in the form of lawyers, negotiators. As an organization, we are passionate about everyone having the right to good housing at a reasonable cost. Region Sydost is a workplace that spans 52 municipalities and six counties. We have just over 80,000 members and approx. 100 employees. We have a number of qualified professional groups, and our employees work independently with great responsibility and therefore have large development opportunities. Different professional groups often work together, as well as with elected representatives and in direct contact with members. This places demands on employees feeling like part of the whole in the organization and understanding the meaning of working in a grassroots movement.
